Child Development Program Application Steps:

Parent Steps for applying (Beginning on January 26th, 2021):

Step 1. Apply on the Application & Registration portal. -Parents will click the Pre-K CD Tab and begin the online application process. -Paper application copies will be available for parents who are unable to apply online. (English & Spanish). -Parents can apply during application assistance nights. *More details to follow. -Who needs to apply: Children who will be 4 years of age by September 1st, 2021, Head Start students, and students with IEPs who are receiving itinerant SPED services.

Step 2. (After Parents have applied) Parents will be contacted by the Early Learning Department to select a date and time for child DIAL-4 screening (Beginning March, 2021): -DIAL-4 screening will be completed by the Early Learning Department during the months of March, April and May 2021. *Select screening sites and times* -June 17 & 18, 2021 Pre-K teachers will assist with DIAL-4 screening. *More details to follow.
