Ambassadors
A JBE Student Ambassador:
- uses knowledge as they problem-solve situations at school, perform schoolwork, follow school expectations, and play fairly and safely.
- shows character as they choose kind words and actions, and show patience, tolerance, and acceptance of others.
- demonstrates citizenship as they eagerly and willingly help in and around the community, assisting adults and peers and care for our shared environment.
Rotating Leadership Opportunities at JBE:
Arrival Assistants
· Student Ambassadors will assist in the supervision of student morning arrival.
· Your job will be to ensure smooth and quiet arrival process.
· This 9 week commitment will place students at various spaces in the school including but not limited to: car line, bus loop, hallways, the media center, the kindergarten annex…AND BEYOND!
· This 9 week commitment begins at 7AM.
Green Team
· The JBE Green Team gives students the opportunity to be leaders in sustainability at our school and in the community. Responsibilities include:
- Recycling
- Watering plants
- “Trash Walks”
- Energy awareness
- Launching school compost program

JBEEZ News Team
· The JBE News Team offers an exciting adventure into the world of media communications! Students in this program will present information on the news show several times a week.
· You must be at school by 7:00 am for this commitment
· Advisor: Laura Owens
· Meets Daily @ 7am
Service Project Coordinators
Students beginning their Ambassadorship as Service Project Coordinators will research community needs and partner with faculty advisor to plan, promote and execute a schoolwide service project. Examples include:
· Delivering Veteran Flags at Mt. Pleasant Memorial
· Neighbors Together Food Drive
