Meet Our Principal

Mrs. Leanne Sheppard

Dear JBE Families,

It is my pleasure to join the JBE Faculty as interim principal.

I retired from Charleston County School District three and a half years ago.  During my 31 years with the District, I held several roles including being an elementary teacher and assistant principal. However, the majority of my career was spent serving as the principal of Pinckney Elementary where I remained for 18 years.  I am a graduate of both the College of Charleston and the Citadel (Master’s Degree). My husband and I have one son and reside in Mt. Pleasant.
