Meet Our Assistant Principal

Mrs. Trammell

Mrs. Graylon Trammell

Mrs. Trammell was born and raised in Charleston where she attended Charleston County Schools from elementary through high school. Mrs. Trammell received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from College of Charleston; a Masters of Education from College of Charleston, and a second masters in Administration and Supervision from The Citadel. Mrs. Trammell has been in education since 2012. She has been a third grade teacher, a math coach and an instructional specialist at the district level. She believes that all students can learn when given the appropriate supports. She enjoys working with students and teachers and looks forward to making James B. Edwards a second home.

Mr.  Ledford

Mr. Robert Ledford

Mr. Ledford is from the small farming community of Cooley-Springs on the northern border of Spartanburg County. He received his B.A. in Theatre from The College of Charleston. He began his educational career in 2005 after receiving his MAT from The University of Charleston in Elementary Education. He has taught 4th, 5th, & 6th grades. He has also served as an International Baccalaureate  Primary Years Program Coordinator, Dean of Students, and school-based Math Coach. Mr. Ledford has served in these roles both locally as well as overseas. Mr. Ledford earned his M.Ed. in School Leadership from The Citadel. He is excited to continue to strengthen and grow the JBE community.
